Signing up for the 2020 Ireland tour

Tour dates:  arrive in Dublin on March 21 – March 29, 2020 /

Air  If you are doing only the Ireland  part of our tour, you need to arrange your international air so that you arrive in Dublin  airport any time on March 21.  You take a taxi to your hotel for the night of the 21st.

For your return, you will be delivered to the Dublin airport on the morning of March .  You can plan your return air accordingly. Do NOT make any air departure on the 29th earlier than 11 AM. If you chose to do so, you will be on your own for a 50 minute taxi ride from the site of our last night lodging to the airport. 

NOTE: If you are doing the Italy ski week  prior to the Ireland  tour, you  are responsible to purchase your air from Milan, Italy  to Dublin  on March 21.  

What about my skis?  Taking your own skis for this trip will be a challenge.  You CANNOT take skis to the Ireland tour! There will not be luggage capacity on our bus for ski bags.   And who wants to drag skis around for 9 days? BOOT BAGS are fine, just no skis.

   You have two options if you insist on taking your skis:

  1- Fly with your skis to Dublin  on March 21. You will have to pay at least $100 in excess bag  fees or more. Then you will have to store your skis there for over $200.  

2- Easy route: forget about bringing skis.  Just bring your boots and rent skis at the resort.  They have cutting edge gear and it will save you a lot of hassl

Air at the end of the tour   On the morning of  March 29 we will have everyone at the Dublin Airport in the morning.  No flights before 11 AM (see previous note above).

Currency adjustment possibility:  There is a chance the Euro could strengthen between the time of deposit and the time of final payment in January. This is a risk always with foreign travel. This could result in a small increase in the final payment amount due.

Minimum group size surcharge   The tour minimum size is 11 paying passengers. If the group is less than 20 paying participants, there will be an increase  assessed per person at time of final payment. Acceptance of the possibility of minimum trip surcharges as per below must be accepted as a possibility at time of deposit.

Deposit dates  

First deposit due upon sign up.  The first deposit deadline is NOVEMBER 10, 2019. 

Amount of first deposit: $450 per person. 

Second deposit is due December 15, 2018.  Amount of second deposit is $450. 

Final payment January 20, 2020

Passports: Make sure you have one and that it does not expire within 6 months of your departure date.

Cancellation Policy     Initial deposit is non-refundable and non-transferable. BUY trip insurance at time of deposit and your investment is covered in case you have to cancel for health reasons. From December 16 to January 20: forfeit 100% of initial deposits for ski weeks and post trip and any further cancellation penalties imposed by wholesalers, hotels, transport companies, or Morningstar Ski Tours. After final payment is made: 100% of first deposit amount for EACH segment and any further cancellation penalties imposed by wholesalers, hotels, transport companies or Morningstar Ski Tours.
