Who We Are

Dan and Deb’s story began 12 years ago, and it’s nothing short of serendipitous. After each losing our long-time spouses of many years, we met, instantly connected, and knew we had found something extraordinary. Within just three months, we were married, starting a new chapter together in beautiful Bend, Oregon—and we’ve been living our best life ever since!

We thrive on outdoor adventures—skiing, biking, hiking, kayaking, boating—but nothing excites us more than exploring the world through travel. It’s our greatest joy to share this passion with friends, both old and new, by creating unforgettable tours that combine cultural immersion, thrilling activities, and a whole lot of fun!

At Morningstar, we have one golden rule: we never offer a tour we haven’t personally experienced. Every destination is handpicked, and we scout it out beforehand to ensure it’s nothing less than amazing. After all, it’s not just about the journey; it’s about creating memories that last a lifetime.

Dan founded Morningstar 38 years ago, and with Deb’s incredible energy and warmth, we’ve taken our mission to new heights. What sets us apart is the personal touch we bring to every trip—something you simply won’t find with most other tour companies.
