Starigrad has ancient buildings and wonderful restaurants. We will have a wine-paired lunch AND a wine-paired dinner here during our 5-night stay on Hvar.

This Croatian orange cake is served at the Starigrad restaurant we are going to enjoy our first wine-paired lunch at. This dessert was SO good, we drove back after a dinner just to have it again.

The oldest restaurant in Starigrad, in the same family for generations, will be site of one of our wine-paired dinners.

The setting of Starigrad is spectacular. We love the eastern side of the island because there are way less people and it is much less touristic than the wester side.

Just stolling along the Starigrad harbor and doing nothing else is so nice… highly recommended.

Riding a bike along the Adriatic coastline of Hvar Island with almost no tourists around is an experience you should avail yourself of.

Vrboska is the Venice of Hvar, with cool canals running thru the village. We will visit on our bike ride

Along the way on our first Starigrad bike ride to Jelsa.

Deb rides an easy paved path to Jelsa, which is one of the most beautiful little villages anywhere. This will be our first half-day bike ride on the tour.

Upon arrival, we will have a wine-paired lunch in Jelsa.

Jelsa: very old, very cool.

The seascapes on our bike rides are as good as they get.

Our second half-day ride will be through vineyards and stunning countryside.

The panos on our second bike ride will blow you away… so nice!

We had absolutely no fun exploring the winding roads and alleyways of Hvar City and neither will you!

OK, this tiny place in Hvar Island had the best porcetta ever! And the wines the owner poured were insane. We had a spectaculr fun time here and we will take you here on our day trip to Hvar. And the coolest thing: the street it is on is the same as my last name!

Hvar Town is a nice place to spend a day exploring and enjoying a wine-paired lunch with us.

Check out the fortress looming over Hvar Town. It is a very nice walk up to it.
